    Will I still be able to manage my own users?
    Yes, but only if you want to. In terms of management, our model is based on allowing you to be as hands-on or as hands-off as you choose. Some customers want us to look after all of their email management and administration, but others use us to take away the daily headaches of Exchange administration whilst still maintaining management control of their users through their control panel.


    How quickly can I add additional users?
    Once you're set up, additional users can be added to your hosted Exchange account more or less instantaneously. As hosted Exchange is provided on demand, you can add or remove users at any time. This means, for example, that if you take on seasonal workers, you can provide them with a company email for the period of their employment, then simply switch it off when they're no longer with you.


    Can I retain my existing email addresses?
    Yes, you can keep your current email addresses, and our technical account managers will work closely with you to ensure that any handover / migration from your existing system is a smooth and painless process.


    How secure is hosted Exchange?
    In short, hosted Exchange offers unparalleled safety and security. We run multiple datacentres on a highly available, fully resilient, constantly mirrored, grid computing model to ensure 99.99% availability, even in the unlikely event of a disaster at one of our datacentres. This means you get complete business continuity and disaster recovery provisioning as standard.


    How secure are your datacentres themselves?
    Our datacentres are entirely secure, in all respects. In terms of power, all datacentres have multiple power feeds from separate substations, primary and secondary power distribution units and standby power generators on-site. Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning requirements are met with 3,350 tons total refrigeration capacity with N+2 redundancy (5 chillers at 670 tons each), together with seven 30-ton CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioner) units inside our data rooms. In terms of physical security, all datacentres have extensive CCTV as well as card reader access on all interior and exterior doors, and are staffed 24x7x365.


    How often is data backed up?
    All data is continuously mirrored across our datacentres to ensure it can be easily retrieved in the event of emails being accidentally deleted, or if local hardware is lost or stolen. Additional backups and snapshots of data can also be configured according to your requirements.


    Will hosted Exchange work with my Mac?
    Yes. As well as MS Outlook, hosted Exchange can also be provided for Entourage, meaning Mac users can easily be included in our hosted Exchange offering.


    Can I get additional storage?
    Yes, additional storage can be provided on a per user basis. Each standard mailbox comes with 1GB of storage, which should be more than sufficient for most users, but by having extra storage available on demand,you can provide for heavier users without having to pay for extra storage that's not needed by others.


    What happens if I reach my storage limit?
    If you or one of your users is approaching their storage limit, you'll automatically receive notification from ThinkExchange. This way, the user can either delete unnecessary emails to reduce their storage, or they/their administrator can instantly assign extra storage resources using their control panel.


    What happens to my data at the end of my contract if I choose not to renew it?
    Should you choose to stop using ThinkExchange's services at the end of your contract, all your data will be returned to you and then entirely removed from our system.


    What support does ThinkExchange provide?
    All ThinkExchange's services are backed by 24x7 support. Our support teams are all exclusively UK-based and are split into customer-specific pods. This means that you're always supported by the same people, allowing you to build a personal relationship with your support team and ensuring that any problems are always dealt with by people already familiar with your specific hosted services. Our support pods are also performance targeted, with direct customer feedback as a key component, meaning they're actively incentivised to produce happy customers.
